چکیده
Bioinspired (or biologically inspired) drug delivery systems (DDSs) have been intensively studied in the last decades. As bioinspired DDSs, membrane vesicles, including extracellular vesicles (EVs) released from eukaryotic cells, outer (OMVs) bacteria, cell-bound (CBMVs) isolated situ cell surfaces, reorganized after isolation of plasma and others rapidly developed are attracting more attention. Most recently, a collection 25 papers on advances vesicle-based was published Special Issue Pharmaceutics entitled “Advances systems”. These cover many related topics source, preparation, modification, loading, vivo administration biodistribution (mainly or exosomes bacterial vesicles), as well application DDSs treatment various diseases.

Introduction: In recent years, the treatment strategy for infectious and autoimmune diseases has significantly changed. Up to now, cancer treatment has been conducted on the basis of clinical and pathological methods. The most common cancer treatments is limited to chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. However, cancer treatment is still not optimal. Common challenges for treatment of cer...

UNLABELLED The remarkable physicochemical properties of particles in the nanometer range have been proven to address many challenges in the field of science. However, the possible toxic effects of these particles have raised some concerns. The aim of this article is to evaluate the effects of poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo compared to industrial nanoparticl...
متن کاملDrug delivery application of extracellular vesicles; insight into production, drug loading, targeting, and pharmacokinetics
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are secreted from any types of cells and shuttle between donor cells and recipient cells. Since EVs deliver their cargos such as proteins, nucleic acids, and other molecules for intercellular communication, they are considered as novel mode of drug delivery vesicles. EVs possess advantages such as inherent targeting ability and non-toxicity over conventional nanocar...
متن کاملApplication of Various Types of Liposomes in Drug Delivery Systems
Liposomes, due to their various forms, require further exploration. These structures can deliver both hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs for cancer, antibacterial, antifungal, immunomodulation, diagnostics, ophtalmica, vaccines, enzymes and genetic elements. Preparation of liposomes results in different properties for these systems. In addition, based on preparation methods, liposomes types can ...
